The fantastic Saheefa Jabbar Khattak, best known for being strong and breaking norms, shared some of the amazing things in her life with me (and I feel lucky). The amazingly talented Pakistani model unveiled about her shift from modelling to acting. Here’s how our chat went!
So I started out with “Could you tell us about an average day in your life?” and she explained her “two types of everyday”.
“(A) When I’m working on a 10 to 10 shift and I don’t know anything about what’s happening in the world. Just doing my shoot and getting back home. (B) When I’m not working and I am home, fixing my cupboard, checking what’s happening in the house and enjoying my ‘Me’ time!”
My next question was about her favorite actors and models.
“I really love Mahira Khan, I really love Saba Qamar, and I love Sajal Ali. If I go with the portfolio, I really like Anum Malik among the models and in the new models, Yasmin Mughal looks really promising.”
Then came the big one, “What attracted you to begin your career as an actor?”
“I think everybody who gets their way into modeling have this ultimate goal of acting. That’s the case with me too. I personally wanted to begin my acting career after another two years from now, but it happened earlier and I am okay, in fact happy, about it!”
I asked about her upcoming projects and she said the following.
“Yes! I have. There are a few things which are in the Pipeline and we are still in talks. Insha Allah there will be new ones soon!”
Then I asked about the three adjectives which a bunch of people who knows her would use to describe her. She chose these.
“Patient, Focused, and Hard working. May be… Yeah!”
I was curious whether she believes in love at first sight.
“Yes! *chuckles* because I fall in love every day.”
Out of all the super powers, the one she wants is this.
“I would like to read minds. I want to be on the level of ecstasy. I would want to have a brain which is more efficient than Einstein.”
I think she wants to be a more intelligent version of Professor X!
I asked about her one annoying habit!
“I have an OCD, so people usually don’t like that.”
Lastly, “If you could wake up tomorrow in the body of someone else, who would you pick?”
“Well, I would want to wake up in the body of Saheefa. But the future one. May be the after 5 years one. I would want to wake up in that body!”
