I feel lucky to get some time with Anum Fayyaz – the innocently pretty and astonishingly talented artist who has portrayed various amazing characters since 2006. There are various superb roles in her credit including her roles in Zard Mausam, Main Hari Piya, Kabhi Socha Na Tha, Rukhsati, Mohabbat Mushkil Hai, Bilqees Kaur, Parvarish, Meri Maa, Mera Khuda Jane and several more. So, recently I got the chance to sit with her and I asked a few questions to this pretty girl which her fans too would want to know.
So without further ado, here’s how my time went in the interview with the gorgeous Anum Fayyaz!
- How did you get into acting as a career?
I have always been passionate about acting and this is the main reason to begin my career as an actor.
- What do you like doing in your spare time?
Whenever I get some time out from my schedule, I love to go out with my husband and enjoy the time over. I also like to read books and novels so if I am not out with my better half then I would be sitting accompanied with a book.
- Could you please tell us a little about your role in “Bandh Khirkiyan”?
My role in ‘Bandh Khirkiyan’ is very close to my heart and it has been a fabulous experience for me so far. The character I am playing right now is a very sensitive and caring young lady who is very family oriented and lovable.
- Which has been your favorite character that you have performed so far?
There are more than one, but I really love my character in “Intezar” which aired from A-Plus. The girl had some psychological issues which were caused by being abused in her childhood. It was an intense role, so, I really like that character of mine.
- What kind of roles do you prefer?
I love to play roles which highlights the women empowerment. Secondly, all the characters that teaches women how to stay strong and stand tall against all those people who are abusive and who discriminate women. So these are the type of characters I love.
- Who is your favorite actor?
That’s a real tough one and I can’t just say one name here. My favorites are Noman Ejaz, Fahad Mustafa and Javed Sheikh Sahab.
- What is the hardest part of being a celebrity?
Well, I love being who I am and I am used to live my life like this. So, I don’t think there is any hard part of being a celebrity. All bright, all good!
- What do you prefer TV or Film?
It totally depends on the role and script but still if it is about preference then I like TV.
